You know, my head sounds absolutely killer. I am extremely happy with the sound and performance you put into to it. It is so loud, so much more headroom. Jens, you are an absolute magician!! I could never get the tone I wanted out of my Marshall DSL40C, no matter the channel, EQ setting or pedals utilized.I got the amp back today. I took it out of the box (perfectly packaged, btw) and plugged in my Les Paul. I didn’t change a single setting except for volume. The clean channel with your “brown” modification sounds amazing!! I probably pissed off my neighbors, but I don’t care. The sound is gritty, yet warm, overdriven, but rolls off perfectly. I am very, very pleased "

I finally got a few minutes to spend with the JCM2000 today. Wow! This thing absolutely smokes! In all honesty, I may have just ended my tone quest. It's exactly what I was looking for, Jens. The notes and chords cut through so well with no more muddiness. And even the factory tones (mod off) sound tons better with the new tranny. That Classictone tranny should be a mandatory upgrade with the mod. Well done sir!
