The modded SLO sounds incredible, it's a totally different amp now. The depth/bottom end is perfect, all of my guitars sound even.
And by the way the clean channel is awesome. If you engaged the crunch switch with your mod it sounds like a Marshall Bluesbreaker and off a really great sparky clean tone.
After playing this Soldano all of my other amps sound like AM radio. We might have a lot of amps to mod !

Picked up the SLO30 today. Wow. It’s everything you promised. It’s still got that swirling Soldano gain structure, but I’m NOT maxing out the tone stack to get some Marshallesque sparkle in it. It’s EXACTLY right, just what the amp needed---the clarity and the extra gain on tap. It’s beautiful. And the separation of crunch and clean modes is such a welcome change. I really don’t like having to adjust for the significant difference in volume between those modes with a clean boost…and being able to have different gain levels on those channels…marvelous. This is how they should send them out from the factory. This really is a genius mod…the bomb. Thanks Karl

Shocked...Awed...Freakin' Head Exploded!
The modification made my SLO a freaking tone monster! The tone and articulation is amazing. I haven't hit power chords and jumped for joy in years and yet here I am doing it again with this modification. Toss in a harmonic? Oh...yes!!!! You'd think I was just learning to play again because it's so f'in awesome to just hit an open G chord and hear it resonate. Every...freakin'...note...yes, neighbors...you will hear this with me now. And not just with a high dollar guitar. A stock Peavey Tracer I have sounds like a $2000 guitar in this amp!!!!!!
Whatever voodoo magic was put into my best friend SLO I approve of! Kruse Amplification...thank you!
